In Atlanta, there is never a shortage of Halloween activities. From haunted houses to festivals to face painting, there is something for everyone. Netherworld, one of the nation’s most revered haunted houses, resides in Atlanta, as does one of the most eclectic festivals: the Little Five Points Halloween Parade and Festival.

Here’s a list of family-friendly ways to celebrate Halloween 2021 in Atlanta. From scary thrills to pumpkin patches, Halloween is terrific Atlanta-style!


1) Little 5 Points Ghost Tours, Little Five Points Community Center, Atlanta, October 1 to November 6



The Little 5 Points Ghost Tours is a fun and spooky way to get into the Halloween spirit in Little 5 Points. This unique neighborhood is rich with HISTORY and HAUNTINGS. The ghost tour is a walking tour that is approximately one mile long and lasts around 1.5 hours. It starts at the Little 5 Points Center for Arts and Community (1083 Austin Ave) and ends at The Wrecking Bar (292 Moreland Ave NE).




2) Rhodes Race at the Haunted Castle 5K, Rhodes Hall, Atlanta, October 23, 2021




Join the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation for a fun-filled, Halloween-themed 5K through Atlanta’s historic Ansley Park. This fun-filled, dog- and stroller-friendly event winds through the creepy twists and ghoulish hills of one of Atlanta’s oldest and most beautiful neighborhoods.





3) Atlanta Field Day 2021, Atlanta Beltline — Historic Fourth Ward Skatepark, October 30, 2021





LET’S GET SPOOKY! Atlanta Field Day is a throwback to grade school, built with adults in mind, but with a Halloween twist. This year we are benefitting from Bert’s Big Adventure!

The year we’re turning up the rivalry & build the biggest Atlanta Field Day yet with a doubleheader event featuring a GA vs. FL watch party!





4) Nightmare on 13th Street, Tiki Tango Hideaway Oasis, Atlanta, October 30 to October 31





Join us, if you dare, as Atlanta’s Largest Halloween Party takes over Tiki Tango + Foxtrot on Saturday, October 30th, 9 PM — 3 AM. Dress up for a night of mischief in the Purgatory Playground. We’ll be awarding $500 Cash to the best overall costume and a $100 gift card for 2nd & 3rd place winners. All guests will be automatically entered once tickets are scanned.

Capturing the Spirit of Oakland Halloween tours are a favorite autumn tradition in Atlanta, selling out every year in July. The event returns for its 15th year bigger and better than ever, offering three weekends of history and delight.
