The previous Earth Day was almost four years ago, which is hard to realise. The global pandemic has undoubtedly interfered with our preparations to celebrate the 50th anniversary. We remain dedicated to recognising our planet and spreading the word about the issues that threaten it. We’re thrilled to share this year that Chicago will host Earth Day in 2023! 3) Earth Day Tree Planting at I AM ABLE
The Chicago Region Trees Initiative is partnering with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois, and I AM ABLE to plant 10 trees in North Lawndale. These trees will contribute to a healthier and more beautiful landscape for years to come. Many thanks to Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois for sponsoring this project!
